I see moto project has died back in 2003. Pity, it was showing some good
potential.

Well, *waves* to David and Cory, see you some time folks.

I will echo that. Moto was an intriguing approach, and it looked like it
had a lot of momentum, so I was surprised that it seemed to fizzle out.
Unfortunately, I was mainly a freeloader on the project myself for a time,
except for trying to compile it on my Mac or Windows machine (I forget
which) and giving some feedback. I really didn't have the chops to be
directly involved in the development, but was very interested in using
it.)

The only other language like this that I have experimented with is
"Eleven" at eleven.sourceforge.net. It is surprisingly mature and
developing quickly, and I have used it on two small production projects,
and others are actively using it too. Like Moto, an intriguing approach.

Well probably David is busy with something else.. David do you hear us? Do you
still have the inclination and resources to continue on this effort? Did you
find it unuseful?
We could probably submit it to unmaintained-free-software.org or otherwise
find a new maintainer. The existing codebase is quite solid and even has
examples of running some websites.
